Community Revitalization Team (CRT)
About CRT
Harney County has an outstanding record of community involvement in economic development activities. Together a group that includes representatives from a wide range of organizations and associations have been continuously active in creative development and support of Harney County Court efforts for economic development since 1989. Today, the group meets under that the name of "Community Revitalization Team" (CRT).
Meetings
The CRT meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month in the Harney County Community Center from 5:30 pm – 7 pm.

Strategic Plan
This work was produced over a 6 month period by a group of interested citizens and representatives of businesses and agencies in the county. Please follow this link to view the Strategic Plan.
Brownfield District Plan and Action Matrix
The Harney County Coalition Brownfield Assessment Program in cooperation with Cardno was funded by an EPA grant in 2020. To date, the program has evaluated 12 commercial properties with development potential. The final document will be available in late 2022. The Action Matrix component of the study is publicly available and updated as work is completed.
